Gratopia is excited to collaborate with you! Before you get started on your project, let's get familiar.
Gratopia is a Minecraft server owned by the YouTuber Gratatah. The point of Gratopia is to do whatever you want, but if you want a real goal, the server is balanced to be an economy survival server. This means that there are some things players should do to make money.
There's a reason why players spend so much time playing the server—it's community-driven. We have had over 150,000 unique players join since March 2023. The community decides on updates and content changes; that’s the key to success.

We offer an in-game rank for people who promote Gratopia, called the Media rank. This rank has all the perks of ACE (our top rank!). You might be wondering if there are any requirements for obtaining the rank—there are.
Special Note for Admin+ Invitations: If you’ve been personally reached out to by an Admin+ member (such as Managers or Michael), you’re exempt from these initial requirements and can request the Media rank at any time. However, to maintain the rank, you must stay active by consistently uploading or creating content featuring Gratopia and its gamemodes.
Media ranks are reviewed monthly to ensure ongoing engagement. While the initial 10,000 views/impressions is the goal for obtaining the rank, maintaining it focuses on consistent effort rather than strict view counts. Here’s what we look for:
Not meeting the view/impression threshold won’t result in instant demotion—as long as you’re consistently putting in effort, we’ll work with you to keep your rank. If activity lapses for over 60 days without communication, we’ll reach out before any changes are made.
We understand streamers may feature multiple servers in a single broadcast. You’re welcome to stream other servers as long as you clearly designate a “Gratopia segment” and promote it accordingly (e.g., asking for promotion in chat, sharing your stream link in-game, etc.). However, you must avoid redirecting viewership gained from Gratopia to another Minecraft server. You can invite viewers to your personal Discord server, but funneling them to a different Minecraft server is not allowed. Exemptions can be made—just communicate clearly with a Manager or Michael directly. If you feel like you might be taking advantage of our player base to move them elsewhere, you probably shouldn’t unless you’ve gotten explicit approval.

The most important tip is to ensure that you have fun with it. We would love to see your individuality shine through in your promotion for our server. You should also keep the content organic since you know your community best. Make sure the shoutout doesn’t come across as forced or ingenuine.
